The Senior Automation Engineer will be responsible for supporting Interns, Automation Assistants I, II, and III, and Junior and Mid-level Automation Analysts in the creation and review of automated test scripts, in line with the testing methodology used by the client.
The role will involve working with object-oriented programming languages such as Java or Ruby and test tools like TestNG, JUnit, JBehave, CucumberJVM, Selenium, and XPATH.
Additionally, the professional will apply TDD, BDD, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, KANBAN) and will be required to have knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST). The focus will be on automation development for WEB, Mobile, and Service applications. Source code versioning using Git, GitLab, and SVN (Tortoise) will also be part of the responsibilities.
Project Management:
The Senior Automation Engineer will assist in analyzing and reviewing the project’s functional documentation alongside the responsible Test Analyst, as needed. They will also participate in training sessions and workshops for professional development.
Required Knowledge:
Programming logic, knowledge of major SQL syntaxes, and requirements analysis.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in Systems Analysis, Software Development, or related fields.
Mandatory Requirements:
CTFL/CTFL-AT certification and advanced English skills.
Professional Experience:
5 to 7 years of experience in the field.
